Project Accountant

INFINIUM has an immediate need for a conscientious, hardworking and dedicated Project Accountant to join our team with the following qualifications:
Responsibilities
- Provides monthly reporting and analysis to Project Management staff in the preparation of monthly billings to general contractors and owners.
- Prepare monthly general contractor/owner billings for assigned projects inclusive of all required supporting documentation.
- Set up and integration of new billing software with other programs
- Ensure cash receipts are posted and project costs are processed.
- Collaborate with trade partners and other key stakeholders to manage payment status and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Verify all trade partners are COI compliant.
- Collects and reviews project subcontractor/supplier lien waivers.
- Collects, reviews, and processes subcontractor/supplier monthly invoices for assigned projects, if needed (as support to AP).
- Ensures proper payments to all subcontractors and major suppliers (as support to AP).
- Create ad hoc reports for the Project Management teams upon request.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field preferred or 2-5 years experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work setting.
- Experience with Foundation, Procore, Textura, GC Pay preferred.
- Proficient in data entry, accounts receivable billing.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 products
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong efficiency and organizational skills.
