  • Support GovTA user acceptance testing by organizing test plans and scenarios, recording results and defects, tracking retests, and confirming that changes address the documented business need.
  • Maintain implementation checklists, role and responsibility matrices, milestones, configuration records, and documentation for transactions, tiles, messages, and validations. Extend these materials to the locally employed payroll phase as directed.
  • Identify missing process steps or unclear handoffs, document proposed workflows, and work with the appropriate subject matter experts and owners to resolve gaps.
  • Update work instructions, training materials, knowledge base articles, and user guidance as approved changes are adopted.

Operational Timekeeping Support

  • Investigate user and timekeeper inquiries in GovTA and the service ticket system, including timesheet validations, delegations, reassignments, and employee or leave record exceptions. Resolve matters within assigned authority and escalate others with supporting evidence.
  • Monitor missing, unvalidated, and uncertified timesheets; follow up ahead of payroll deadlines. With appropriate access and approvals, perform Master Timekeeper validation overrides and HR Administrator tasks such as delegations, reassignments, and federal calendar maintenance. Make authorized profile and leave balance corrections outside automated data feeds.
  • Review personnel and leave data feeds, reconcile pay plan and non-pay status exceptions, document discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with payroll and operations teams. Coordinate file build schedules and manual builds with system owners when needed.

  • Ability to support testing or process changes by following documented scenarios, recording evidence and defects, and verifying the outcome of a correction.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reconciling records, including sorting and filtering, formulas or lookups, and checks for completeness and accuracy; proficiency with Word, Outlook, and collaboration or document sharing tools.
  • Ability to write clear procedures, meeting notes, training content, and user communications for audiences with different levels of system knowledge.
