The ideal candidate is technically savvy, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage deadlines while providing an exceptional client experience. You’ll work directly with clients while collaborating closely with internal teammates, vendors, and carriers to deliver accurate, effective technology solutions.

How You Will Contribute

  • Configure and maintain client benefit enrollment websites using third-party software platforms.
  • Manage low-to-moderate complexity implementations from initial configuration through testing and delivery.
  • Analyze client needs and translate requirements into effective system configurations.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and audits to ensure configurations function accurately and meet client requirements.
  • Troubleshoot system and configuration issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop effective solutions.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource during client meetings and implementation discussions.
  • Provide day-to-day support to assigned clients and proactively respond to client questions and needs.
  • Partner directly with clients, vendors, carriers, and internal teams throughout the implementation process.
  • Train HR administrators on benefits technology platforms, functionality, processes, and applicable benefit program requirements.
  • Maintain working knowledge of employee benefits products, services, and technology solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced teammates.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
  • Support the development and enhancement of SOPs and implementation best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within applicable systems and databases.
  • Stay current on industry developments, technology, products, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, accountability, and a positive client-focused environment.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful

Required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • 2-5 years of software implementation or related technology experience.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software, processes, and technical concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines.
  • Strong written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with database applications.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Professional approach to client service and problem resolution.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, less than 5%.

Preferred

  • Experience within employee benefits, insurance, human resources, HR technology, or financial services.
  • Experience implementing or supporting employee benefits technology platforms.
  • Experience training clients or HR administrators on software platforms.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Enjoy figuring out how technology works and solving problems when it doesn’t.
  • Can translate client needs into accurate system configurations.
  • Have a strong eye for detail and take pride in getting things right.
  • Feel comfortable interacting directly with clients.
  • Can balance multiple implementations and deadlines.
  • Enjoy helping teammates learn and develop.
  • Look for ways to make processes better rather than simply following them.
  • Want to build expertise at the intersection of employee benefits, client service, and technology.
