Your Mission

Implementation Specialist, US (Remote)

Implementation Specialists are the difference between a customer’s first weeks with Linnworks and a lifetime of loyalty. You’ll join a tight-knit team of Implementation Specialists and Project Managers who turn ambitious onboarding plans into real, working systems — fast. Expect to think on your feet, test bold ideas, and iterate until you’ve found the formula that clicks for each customer. It’s part strategist, part technologist, part storyteller — and entirely driven by the belief that a great first experience changes everything. We're looking for someone genuinely curious — always testing new ideas, comfortable challenging their own assumptions, and driven to find a better way of doing things.

Linnworks product experience is a plus but not required — full product training is provided on the job.

Applicants must live in either Eastern or Central US Time zones

What you’ll do:

  • Lead discovery and configuration across channels, inventory, shipping and automation
  • Help clients clean up and import product and order data (CSV/XLSX)
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and escalate with clear, reproducible detail
  • Keep projects on track in Salesforce, and write documentation clients can use after go-live
  • Feed client patterns back to Product, Sales, Engineering, and the wider team

Attitudes:

  • Trustworthy & responsible, flexible, stress-tolerant
  • Helpful attitude, capable of asking and accepting help when needed
  • Quick learner, naturally curious, and always testing new ideas
  • Continuous-improvement mindset: comfortable challenging your own assumptions to find a better way of doing things
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: self-motivated, resourceful, innovative, collaborative and committed
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of project and task management
  • Curiosity about how order/inventory management and e-commerce operations work end-to-end — you don't need to be an expert on day one, you'll build this knowledge on the job

What You'll Bring To The Role

  • Track record of strong performance in a previous role
  • At least 6–12 months in a customer-facing role (e.g. ecommerce operations, customer support, onboarding/implementation, account management, or product/development)
  • Preferred: experience with Linnworks or a similar order/inventory management platform (OMS, PIM, ERP, marketplace, or fulfilment), or a background in e-commerce, SaaS, or a cloud application environment
  • Technically minded, with a basic understanding of APIs and how systems connect and exchange data
  • AI-curious rather than an AI expert: you don't need to arrive as an AI power-user, but you're keen to explore how AI-assisted tools (e.g. Claude, Fellow) can drive efficiency in documentation, meeting notes, and day-to-day work
  • Experience with Salesforce (CRM), Asana (project management), and other standard Office applications
  • Good understanding of working with and manipulating data in CSV and Excel (XLSX) files
  • A natural teacher. You can explain complex systems to non-technical users, check they’ve understood, and adjust your approach when something isn’t landing
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills
  • Confident, clear communicator — comfortable running customer calls, status updates, and internal presentations
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and switch between tasks under pressure
  • Decision-making and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, including distributed, cross-time-zone teams and customers
  • Experience training, coaching or enabling others (customer training, support, retail or warehouse team leads, teaching). Formal or informal both count
  • Experience with an Order Management System (OMS), Product Information Management (PIM), ERP, ecommerce marketplace/storefront (e.g. Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, TikTok Shop, WooCommerce), or fulfilment platform — or broader e-commerce sector experience — is strongly preferred
