Tissium is a mission-driven medical device company founded in 2013, headquartered in Paris, with a production facility in Roncq (near Lille) and an office in Boston. We are dedicated to creating a new era of body repair by leveraging our biopolymer platform to develop innovative solutions in surgery for a positive impact on patients’ lives.

Tissium’s technology is based on research and intellectual property from the laboratories of Professor Robert Langer (MIT) and Professor Jeffrey M. Karp (Brigham and Women’s Hospital), who co-founded the company with Christophe Bancel (CEO) and Maria Pereira (Deputy CEO & Chief Innovation Officer).

We are developing polymers for atraumatic tissue repair in various applications. Today, these polymers are used for sutureless nerve repair, hernia repair, and cardiovascular sealing.

Since our inception, we have raised more than 200 million euros, including 60 million euros in new financing announced in June 2026. This capital supports the US commercial rollout of COAPTIUM® CONNECT, our FDA-authorized sutureless nerve repair system, and the development of our pipeline.

ROLE SUMMARY

As we scale COAPTIUM® CONNECT across the US, the Product Marketing Manager, Nerve Solutions owns the commercial strategy for TISSIUM’s nerve repair portfolio, from launch planning through lifecycle management. Primarily downstream-focused, the role partners with Sales, Professional Education, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Market Access, Operations and R&D. A unique opportunity for a hands-on, AI-driven marketer to shape a new category in a growth-stage company and grow into franchise leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the US Nerve Solutions strategy and annual marketing plan: segmentation, targeting, pricing inputs, financial models, business cases and budget.
  • Define positioning, value propositions, messaging and competitive selling tools (e.g., battlecards) by product, indication and customer segment.
  • Lead new product introductions from concept to post-launch review, driving the cross-functional launch team on milestones, readiness gates and metrics.
  • Run limited market release and early adopter programs to refine positioning.
  • Turn strategy into creative briefs and campaigns, managing agencies and spend.
  • Build product education with Professional Education, train the sales force and support account planning with field insights.
  • Lead TISSIUM’s presence at key surgical meetings and build strategic KOL relationships, including advisory boards.
  • Forecast demand with Sales, Finance and Operations; track market data, competition and KPIs through regular business reviews.
  • Bring the commercial voice to lifecycle, new product and line extension plans with R&D.
  • Lead MLR (Medical, Legal and Regulatory) review, ensuring all claims, including AI-assisted content, are substantiated, consistent with labeling and FDA-compliant, in line with TISSIUM’s Quality Management System.
  • Put AI at the core of marketing: use generative AI daily for research, analysis and content, build AI-enabled workflows (e.g., prompt libraries) and coach colleagues on compliant use.
  • Mentor junior team members and agency partners as the team grows.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a technical field; MBA a plus.
  • 6+ years in medical devices, including implantable devices, with 4+ years in product marketing.
  • Hands-on contribution to at least one product launch; end-to-end launch leadership strongly preferred.
  • Experience with MLR processes and FDA-compliant promotion; knowledge of US healthcare, market access and sales strategy.
  • Advanced, hands-on use of generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) and a track record of building AI-enabled workflows.
  • Strong financial acumen (modeling, budgeting, forecasting); advanced Excel, PowerPoint and CRM skills.
  • Nerve repair, sales or operating room experience a plus.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25-30% domestically.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

  • Strategic Ownership - turns strategy into action, wears multiple hats and decides with incomplete information.
  • Cross-functional Leadership - strong project manager who rallies teams without authority.
  • AI-First Mindset - curious, always finding smarter ways to work, and responsible with AI and confidential data.
  • Financial Rigor - organized, detail-oriented and at ease with numbers.
  • Communication - credible with surgeons, executives and the field.
  • Compliance Mindset - thrives in a structured, quality-driven environment.
  • Patient Impact - driven to improve patients’ lives.

Reports to: Associate Director, Global Marketing
