Your role
We're hiring a Campaign Marketing Manager to own every email and campaign our existing customers receive. You'll build the triggered, in-product and lifecycle communications that get new customers live, help them adopt more of STAN, and keep them with us year after year.
This is a hands-on role. You'll set the strategy, write the copy, build the automations, and report on what's working. You'll work closely with Customer Success, Product, and Product Marketing to make sure property managers hear from us at the right moment, with the right message.
Your role and responsibilities
- Own product-triggered emails. Design and maintain behaviour-based emails tied to how customers use STAN: onboarding milestones, feature activation, inactivity nudges, and usage-based tips.
- Run customer campaigns. Plan and launch campaigns for new features and product releases, webinars and training sessions, customer events, surveys, and renewal moments.
- Map the customer journey. Build lifecycle flows from contract signed through go-live, adoption, renewal, and expansion, and make sure every stage has the right touchpoints.
- Write and edit the copy. Subject lines, body copy, calls to action, and in-app messages, written for busy property managers and board members, in STAN's voice.
- Segment and personalize. Use product usage and account data to tailor messages by customer size, role, region, lifecycle stage, and the features they use.
- Test and optimize. Run an ongoing testing plan across subject lines, timing, content, and sequences, and apply what you learn.
- Measure impact. Track opens, clicks, activation, feature adoption, and retention signals; share monthly results and recommendations with Marketing and Customer Success.
- Keep the list healthy. Manage send frequency, suppression rules, subscription preferences, and deliverability, and keep communications compliant with CASL and CAN-SPAM.
- Partner across teams. Work with Customer Success on onboarding and at-risk accounts, with Product on release timing, and with Product Marketing on messaging, so customers get one clear, coordinated voice from STAN.
- Use AI well. Use AI tools to speed up drafting and analysis, and review every output for accuracy, tone, and brand fit.
Requirements
- 4+ years in lifecycle, customer, or campaign marketing, ideally at a B2B SaaS company.
- Hands-on experience building triggered and automated email programs in a marketing automation or customer messaging platform (for example HubSpot, Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, or Marketo).
- A track record of moving customer metrics such as activation, feature adoption, or retention through email and campaigns, with numbers to show it.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, and the judgment to adapt tone for different audiences and moments.
- Comfort working with data: building segments, reading dashboards, and turning results into clear next steps.
- Solid grasp of email best practices, including A/B testing, deliverability, list hygiene, and consent rules such as CASL and CAN-SPAM.
- Organized and self-directed, able to run several programs and stakeholders at once in a fast-moving startup.
- Clear written and verbal communication, and an easy working style with Customer Success, Product, and Sales.
Nice to have
- Experience in PropTech, property management, or another vertical SaaS market.
- Experience with in-app messaging or product tours alongside email.
- Exposure to customer marketing beyond email, such as customer newsletters, advocacy programs, case studies, or community.
- Experience setting up lifecycle programs from scratch at an early-stage company.
- Basic HTML and CSS for email template
Benefits
- Opportunity to sell world-class, patented AI technology.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and specialist benefits.
- Company Macbook.
- Free parking and shuttle service to the office.
- Extra PTO during occasional US holidays.
- Company events, in-office restaurant, and building-wide perks.
- Unlimited ping pong and espresso!
If you're a closer who is passionate about AI and ready to disrupt a massive industry, we want to talk to you!
