Reporting directly to the Head of Product, Investment Banking, you will own the strategy, roadmap and delivery of high-impact products used by bankers and business leaders across the IB franchise. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role for a product leader who pairs strategic thinking with disciplined execution: someone who frames ambiguous problems, applies AI and data to solve them, and brings stakeholders along.

You will help define how AI is embedded in banker workflows, lead change and adoption across IB, and contribute thought leadership on where product and AI create the most value. This is a rare opportunity to build AI-enabled products from the ground up and see them used by bankers every day.

Strategy & Thought Leadership

  • Shape the product vision, strategy and roadmap, aligned to IB business priorities.
  • Bring a clear point of view: track industry, fintech and AI developments, and influence the IB digital agenda with ideas that challenge the status quo.
  • Frame the problem before the solution: clarify objectives, constraints and trade-offs, then simplify and unify processes across the organization.
  • Focus on outcomes, not output: define MVP scope and phased delivery, set measurable success metrics, and report results to leadership.
  • Help define the Product, Design and Engineering operating model, including shared tools, standards and ways of working.

AI-Enabled Problem Solving & Delivery

  • Pioneer where AI (generative AI, agents, machine learning, signals) can improve banker productivity, insight and decision-making, and partner with Data Science and Engineering to take ideas to production.
  • Use AI tools in your own work (research synthesis, requirements, analysis) to move faster and raise the bar.
  • Drive the backlog, user stories and acceptance criteria; prioritize by business value, lead agile delivery with Engineering and Experience Design, and own release readiness (UAT, quality, go/no-go).
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy options, including AI and data vendors; manage cross-team and platform dependencies and raise risks early with clear options.
  • Champion data, process and responsible AI governance as a product priority: partner with data owners, Compliance, Risk and Technology so the data and AI behind our applications are accurate, complete and fit for purpose.

Discovery, Design & Prototyping

  • Lead product discovery: shadow bankers, run user interviews and map workflows to uncover real needs before building.
  • Rapidly prototype concepts using AI-assisted design and build tools (Figma, Figma Make and Claude Code) to validate ideas with users before committing engineering investment.
  • Partner with Experience Design to uphold design system standards and deliver consistent, intuitive, user-centered experiences across the product portfolio.
  • Showcase prototypes and demos to stakeholders at all levels to build alignment, gather feedback and accelerate decisions.

Stakeholder Communication & Influence

  • Build trusted relationships at every level, from junior bankers to senior MDs, business sponsors, control functions and technology leadership.
  • Communicate with clarity and conviction, tailored to the audience, and lead through influence to drive alignment and close decisions.

Change Management, Training & Adoption

  • Lead go-to-market for every release (launch planning, communications, training and support), acting as a product evangelist and change agent for the business.
  • Design scalable, digital-first training and self-service (guides, short videos, in-app help) that reduces reliance on repeated manual training.
  • Define adoption KPIs, monitor usage and feedback, and turn insights into product improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in financial services, owning products end to end; investment banking or capital markets experience strongly preferred
  • A track record of launching products that users adopt, with measurable business impact you can point to
  • Practical experience bringing AI / generative AI into products or workflows, and fluency with prototyping tools such as Figma, Figma Make and Claude Code
  • A strategic thinker who frames ambiguous problems clearly, makes sound trade-offs and can tell the story behind the roadmap
  • An exceptional communicator who earns credibility with senior bankers, executives and governance forums, and influences without direct authority
  • Experience leading change management, training and adoption for enterprise platforms
  • Hands-on experience shaping the design and agile delivery of workflow applications, from Salesforce to custom Angular and React builds, with the technical depth to earn credibility with Engineering and Experience Design
  • A sharp eye for data: you understand that quality applications depend on good data and sound processes, and you are comfortable with data models, data quality, BI tools and metrics (SQL a plus)
  • An ownership mindset, intellectual curiosity, a bias toward building and experimenting, and the drive to excel in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $150,000 - $185,000.
