Summary

We are looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our growing Water/Wastewater team in St. Paul. This is more than a traditional project management role — it’s an opportunity to take ownership of impactful infrastructure projects, expand client relationships, mentor emerging engineers, and continue building your leadership career within a growing national practice.

Our Water/Wastewater practice delivers a wide range of meaningful projects, including:

  • Raw water supply systems, wells, and surface water intakes
  • Water treatment, pumping, storage, and distribution systems
  • Wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems
  • Pump/lift stations and process/mechanical piping systems
  • Rehabilitation and assessment projects that improve aging infrastructure

In this role, you’ll lead projects from concept through construction while gaining visibility across multidisciplinary teams and contributing to the continued growth of our Midwest operations. We’re looking for someone who wants to play a larger role in client strategy, project delivery, and long-term practice development.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead projects on schedule and within budget from kickoff through delivery
  • Manage project teams, mentor junior staff, and support professional development
  • Serve as a technical resource and trusted client partner
  • Support proposal development, interviews, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Oversee construction administration and coordinate with contractors and field staff
  • Ensure high-quality project delivery through strong QA/QC practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience
  • Strong project management and client relationship skills
  • Experience leading wastewater design and construction projects
  • Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required

This role offers the chance to grow your influence, take on greater leadership responsibilities, and help shape the future direction of a rapidly expanding practice.
