MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 12-week ICU contract position in Westminster, CA. NIGHT SHIFT. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting for critically ill and complex patients
• Monitor and assess hemodynamic status, ventilator management, and critical care interventions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders and evidence-based protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress accurately in the EMR system
• Respond swiftly to rapid changes in patient condition and participate in code response as needed
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact license eligibility
• Minimum 1 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive drips
• Experience with common EMR/EHR systems preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to new hospital environments and protocols
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
