MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our LTAC ICU team in Ontario, CA. PER-DIEM SHIFTS. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill and medically complex patients in a Long-Term Acute Care ICU setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions including vital signs, hemodynamic status, and response to treatment
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Manage ventilator-dependent patients and coordinate with respiratory therapy for optimal pulmonary care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, therapists, and case managers to develop and execute patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge planning
• Respond to rapid changes in patient condition and initiate emergency interventions as needed

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Minimum 1-2 years of ICU, LTAC, or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care protocols
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment while maintaining compassionate patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
