North Point Senior Homecare in Virginia Beach, VA is looking for a compassionate and skilled PRN Registered Nurse to join our dedicated care team. Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to senior patients in a home health setting on a PRN (as-needed) basis
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical treatments as ordered
• Monitor and document patient health status, progress, and changes in condition
• Communicate effectively with physicians, care coordinators, and family members regarding patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medications, and home safety
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and agency home health regulations and documentation standards

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia
• Previous home health, geriatric, or senior care nursing experience preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits in the Virginia Beach area
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management abilities
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a genuine passion for senior care
