REGISTERED NURSE LTAC

MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (LTAC) to join our team in Ontario, CA. Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to long-term acute care patients with complex medical needs
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in an LTAC environment
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators, IV therapy, wound care, and other advanced clinical interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, therapists, and case managers
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR)
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and disease management

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience in an LTAC, ICU, Med-Surg, or acute care setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with ventilator management, wound care, and complex patient populations preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
