About the employer

Circle Logistics, Inc

No Fail Service, Personalized Communication, and Innovative Solutions. Come Join Our Circle!

Circle Logistics was founded in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2011 by Eric Fortmeyer and Chad Buchanan. Fifteen years later, we're a privately held 3PL moving roughly 33,000 loads a month across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, with an asset-based fleet, a vetted carrier network, and branches across the country. We've grown without losing the part that mattered most at the beginning: when something is on the line, a real person picks up the phone.

For shippers. We move freight across every major mode (dry van, reefer, flatbed, expedite, oversize, auto, bulk, LTL, and air) for customers ranging from family-owned manufacturers to Fortune 500 supply chains. Our work is built on three commitments we make on every load: No Fail Service, Personalized Communication, and Innovative Solutions. No Fail Service means we own the load from tender to delivery and solve problems rather than explain them. Personalized Communication means a named point of contact who knows your freight. Innovative Solutions means we invest in the technology and visibility tools that keep you out of the weeds. For our team. Circle is built on an intrapreneurial branch model. Top performers don't hit a ceiling. They build books, build teams, and in many cases build branches of their own with real ownership of the outcome. For carriers. We work with a hand-selected network of strategic partners because our customers only work with the best. That means fair rates, fast pay, and dispatchers who treat drivers like partners. Big enough to handle complex freight at scale. Small enough that the people running your account actually know your business.

  • Quote freight opportunities, evaluate shipping needs, and qualify accounts for additional business.
  • Execute spot quotes, review RFPs, and implement lane strategies to maximize opportunities.
  • Leverage an existing customer or carrier book of business to accelerate growth.

Own the Customer Relationship

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted partner for assigned accounts, managing daily communication by phone and email.
  • Manage daily quoting activity, shipment development, tracking, and high-level account needs.
  • Build strong relationships with customer planners and decision-makers by providing proactive communication, dependable service, and timely updates.
  • Communicate both opportunities and challenges professionally, taking ownership of issues and working toward effective solutions.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with senior-level customer contacts to evaluate performance, discuss objectives, and identify opportunities for growth.

Collaborate and Improve

  • Partner with operations representatives and internal teams to coordinate account activities and ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Provide direction and guidance to operations representatives supporting assigned accounts.
  • Lead weekly or monthly customer strategy and continuous improvement discussions, as appropriate.
  • Analyze account performance, identify service improvements, and develop strategies to strengthen customer partnerships.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of service.
  • Familiarity with electronic transportation platforms and applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations.
  • Flexibility to support customer needs outside standard business hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Primarily an indoor office environment, with occasional participation in outdoor company events.
  • May require flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, or extended hours based on business needs.
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods and perform routine mobility, reaching, bending, and related activities.
