The Role: We are a heavy rigging and millwrighting company that executes massive, complex industrial equipment installations and relocations. We don’t sell off-the-shelf widgets; we sell high-ticket, high-stakes project execution to Plant Managers, Operations Directors, and facility engineers.
We just hired a top-tier Business Development Manager to close these deals, and we need a relentless, fearless "dialer" to keep his calendar full.
Your job is simple but tough: get past the gatekeepers, find the decision-makers inside manufacturing, steel, and production plants, and book qualified introductory meetings. You are the tip of the spear. If you love the hunt, have thick skin, and know how to politely but firmly navigate an industrial phone tree, we want you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- High-Volume Prospecting: Make targeted outbound phone calls daily to industrial facilities, backed by strategic emails and LinkedIn outreach.
- Gatekeeper Navigation: Expertly bypass receptionists and front desks to reach Plant Managers, Maintenance Directors, and VP-level decision-makers.
- Qualifying: Ask smart, probing questions to uncover upcoming capital projects, plant expansions, or equipment relocations.
- Booking: Tee up highly qualified discovery calls and site visits for our Business Development Manager.
- CRM Mastery: Keep meticulous records of who you spoke to, what their timeline is, and when to follow up.
What You Bring to the Table
- Fearlessness on the Phones: You do not have call reluctance. A "no" doesn't ruin your day; it just means you are one step closer to a "yes."
- Industrial Intuition: You don't need to be an engineer, but you should feel comfortable talking to blue-collar leadership and understanding basic manufacturing environments. (Previous B2B or industrial/construction SDR experience is a massive plus).
- Curiosity & Sharpness: You know how to ask the right questions to get people talking about their operational headaches.
- Discipline: You can manage your own time, hit your daily activity metrics, and thrive in a hybrid work environment.
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary + uncapped commission for meetings booked and deals won.
- Hybrid schedule (mix of our Erlanger HQ and remote work after your probationary period).
- Direct mentorship from senior leadership and a clear path to advance into outside sales/BDM roles if desired.
- The chance to be a foundational piece of our revenue engine.
